What is massage? Why massage for animals?
Massage is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for these therapeutic
purposes: providing caring touch, providing relaxation and rejuvenation, increasing
flexibility and enhancing movement, improving local and systemic circulation, and
reducing pain.
All bodies are subject to the same stresses and strains whether we have 2 legs or 4.
We are all affected by daily wear and tear and the effects of gravity. Why not
massage for animals? I specialize in Equine Massage and Canine Massage.
